Re: Advice needed please

My sister and brother-in-law owns one of these, not sure what year. But when I told them I was looking for a Pathfinder, they adamantly insisted to avoid the Pathfinder since their R52 has been in the shop three times for transmission problems already. Also, a few other things, but not as bad as the...

Re: Anyone ever try these 6 Gallon round jugs in spare tire spot?

Ahh, didn't know that.

That leads me to ask then if R51s in other parts of the world come with a bigger fuel tank? Why go with external containers for when one can just retrofit a larger fuel tank if it's considerably bigger than what we have here in North America.

Re: Anyone ever try these 6 Gallon round jugs in spare tire spot?

Very cool. May eventually have to pick up 3 some day in the future for water storage for fishing and camping trips.

I wonder why they don't recommend it for fuel storage? Gas buildup?

Re: About to be new owner, radiator question

If I recall correctly, my Koyo from 20 years ago was either Made in USA or Japan. I'm not so sure about now though so what you have found about it currently being made in China may hold true. As for Mishimoto, they're really popular with the import car scene for radiators and intercooler kits. I hav...

Re: About to be new owner, radiator question

I can vouch for Koyo radiators, have had the same one on my 240sx for about 20 years now.

Yes, my 2011 came with a factory metal splash guard/skid plate that extends back to the front crossmember.

Re: Beating a dead horse

As far as I know, only a guy in Southern California has it on his. I'm not sure if he's a member on the forums here though. According to his youtube channel, he has a 2011 Pathfinder V8 4x4 with Titan swap in front and OME lift in rear.

Looks great, I noticed your frame looks a little wet. Did you end up going with Fluid Film or is that just from the snow?

Re: Upload Images Directly to Forum

I've been meaning to hit Anza Borrego, just haven't had the opportunity to. I will definitely do a trip there sometime during the Spring and post it up though. Would eventually like to hit Joshua Tree, Big Bear, then eventually Moab when I'm finally armored up. I saw a trail in Nevada that I'd like ...

Re: Pathfinder and Xterra vs 4Runner and Landcruiser Prado

LOL I just found it funny is all. I agree about the driver in the video I linked, seemed inexperienced? Spare under the carriage has been a common complaint amongst all trucks that do any bit of off road driving. But then I kind of like the undercarriage option as it'll be easier on my back. My 33&q...

Re: Pathfinder and Xterra vs 4Runner and Landcruiser Prado

I happened to be watching some R51 videos on youtube two nights ago and it reminded me of the link you posted, however, it has the opposite outcome though.
