I own an Audi with those lights. Sorry, I don't like them on the PF

LOL. No I read the story on one of the other car forums I visit. It made the rounds on the Internet for a while

Was it a red one from Florida?

I don't know what type of mounts the PF has, but many cars come with hydraulic mounts. Usually they are rubber with some sort of fluid in them to reduce vibrations being transmitted into the cabin. So it's not unrealistic for this to be the case here. I've had two other cars with mm leaks, but they ...

IIRC a whole new cover costs less than $350. Add to that the paint and there's your costs. I don't think you can repair those flexible bumpers when they have a hole like that in it.

I've used Amsoil and they're very good products, but there's no way I would go 20K miles without an oil change. I'm not sure if the filter would even be working at that point.

I use Mobil 1 and change the oil around 6K miles. If I used Amsoil, I'd do tthe same.

I have mine between my legs under the steering wheel. When not in use, I keep it in the top glove box. Once it's set you really don't need to worry about it.

Would you happen to know what the spring rates are on the stock vs. OR?

the problem was I couldn't close it from the tilt position to open it in the "all the way open" position. I had to keep toggling the switch on and off, closing it a little at a time, until it closed

Sunroof won't stay closed

Is there some type of sensor switch in the sunroof? Today, the sunroof was in the tilted position and when I tried to close it, it closed then opened back up into the tilt position. I tried shutting off the engine, that didn't help. I was finally able to get it to close by pressing the button multip...

are you sure the "goo" wasn't very fine metal shavings? That's what you'd typically see on the magnet

How do you know that the Bilsteins and the OME shocks are valved the same? Shocks and springs not only have to be designed to work together but they need to be designed to work front to rear.

Otherwise, you could get some unexpected handling characteristics

FWIW, I never got a card/letter from Nissan saying there was a recall on my 2006, but I got a call from the dealer last week saying there was an outstanding recall on my car.

agreed. do you know what the spring rates are for both the OE and the OME? That's the key numbers to compare and will give an indication of how much stiffer the new spring is.

I can search for it, but thought you may know

you can't compare an uncompressed spring with one that's compressed on the vehicle.

The new one will compress once the weight of the car is on it
