Re: Losing time

I think it's just the basic part of the equation to eliminate, for me. You could be chasing something else, but it's worth just making sure main ground and terminals are good. I didn't realize is was occurring for a while. Did you install an after market remote starter, anything like this in the pas...

Re: Losing time

clocks are Hz, and they require good minimum voltages to keep things accurate. how old is the battery - have this checked to make sure it's able to hold the minimum good voltages and charge. Dollars to donuts I think your battery is telling you something. At the very minimum I would ensure to clean ...

thank you for the feedback. They look very nice. I may think on doing these in the Summer, when I probably will service the injectors, etc.

Re: The EASIEST and most TROUBLE FREE R51 Pathfinder lift??

Welcome. 83K it's a baby. Not that I had to lift mine, but the lower rear controls arms have to be in good order. Check that the alignment bolts are not seized for any alignment needs (front and rear). I'm certain that you will need these to be in good order for any lift. If this is a southern vehic...

Re: New Valve Covers

How were the build quality of these when received. Some Amazon reviews seem to hint that it's a bit hit and miss?

Re: 2012 Pathfinder losing power under acceleration: V6

anything like this? loss of power could be plugged cat....exhaust...since we have two of them, it could be one side...etc. This is Frontier 4 banger in the video, but it seems close enough in relation. Eric O is great and shows a lot of his ideas.testing methods and information that might help. http...

Re: Dead alternator...?

I've always had luck from the wreckers/recycler when getting an alternator. OEM and they usually test them prior to selling them. years ago, I had a Saab 9-5 and it was near $1200 CAD for OEM. GM Robbers they are. Went to Oakville LKQ and was able to get a 30Km one off a one year old car for $80. 60...

Re: Passenger Airbag Warning Light on or off?

OCS deals with both the seat cushion and the seat-belt pre-tensioner. if you click in the passenger seat belt with no one sitting, I would imagine the light activates to disable the air bag for passenger side thinking there is a light weight occupant there / heavy weight occupant missing. Sorry to e...

Re: Dead alternator...?

sure seems like the symptoms of a bad alternator.
any immediate noise when starting the truck?

if you are not sure of the whine, take off the belt, start it up and see if it cancels out.

100% I've performed the MAF pull.
I think I did it 3-4 times, going through the Nissan Manual process.
I did receive the P0102 code, etc.

Thanks for your input!

B1.S2 it is.

Re: P1273 A/F B1 S1 Lean - expertise required!

Sorry the .1 - .2V observed, is on the B1S2 O2 sensor only. That voltage stays low throughout. It seems to move when the AF ratio voltage bumps around a bit. Sorry for any confusion B1S1 never reaches 1.45 after the HTR is ON, it stays around 1.20-1.29V I forgot to add that the B1 S1 Lamba always st...

P1273 A/F B1 S1 Lean - expertise required!

Have this code. Did the automatic, gut reaction thing, and installed a new AF sensor. Code Came back. Note - there is a rich smell of gas on start up and it continues... Data: With my Foxwell Tech Scanner was able to see interesting data. B1S1 AF/S @ ~1.45 B1S2 @ ~0.7V - HTR=OFF B2S1 AF/S @ ~1.45, B...

Re: Never mind! Have more thinking on this one.

Awesome information! Thank you for the this. I'm doing a system flush to see how it all starts to come out. I've seemingly always had issues with heat at idle. The pump - I've checked and it does operate and at the right conditions. I checked the inlet and outlet pipes, and even when the pump is ope...
