Another V8 Brake Upgrade Complete

***updated with lower price. I didn’t realize RockAuto charged tax on the core so I got a larger refund*** Finally got around to upgrading my brakes to V8 fronts. Tired of roaching them out or them warping. 98k miles, longest I've ever had any work on this rig were for about 35k miles and those were...

Ran out of Bandwidth?

I take it we ran out of bandwidth or some similar type of issue in Sept? I noticed no posts later than Sep 22 and I wasn't able to log in around the 26th until today. Although I could reset my password. Went so far as to try to create a new account thinking it was me but even that failed. Seems like...

Lift the 2nd row seat bottoms up by the straps, pull the lower release handle to fold the backs down forward then you can flip back the short filler piece from the back of the seat to make the floor flat. If you did figure out a way to let the seats fold further back past the stops it wouldn't get f...

Old thread but man this takes me back to 6 or so years ago when ole Greybrick (changed his userid to Grey) made some posts and lost his sh!t over snow chains when I called him out and he ended up banned. Good times. I personally bought two sets, 4 chains total. Whenever I encounter roads crappy enou...

Not knowing what you've already accomplished other than what you listed, if my Pathy was at 140k with no known previous maintenance above standard oil changes and I was intent on keeping it until it died a horrible death I'd do the following: Full fluid flush/change ( coolant, brake fluid , trans, d...

Re: Where to order OME in US

If you have the OME part numbers you can call up anyone selling OME parts and they will order them for you. Think Jeep sites if ARB can't come through. .....That does not sit right with me and I would rather do business with someone else. They are doing everything in their powers to prevent you from...

I just wanted to reiterate, get the FSM section for the ATX and after you look through the index you'll find the section where there is a detailed break down of steps on what to manually check and if it's a go/no go situation then what other FSM sections to refer to and what parts to check. Very tho...

Definitely don't just change the transfer case out. At-least not yet. When mine went it was in 2wd but I was able to create a switch and put it into 4wd Hi, it eventually came out on it's own. After you review the Manual you'll see it's a pretty straight forward troubleshooting process if the switch...

http://thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=9679 In the absence of a scan tool like the Consult II the Factory Service Manual has a list of testing procedures and expected voltages at the respective pins at the TCU and 4wd selector switch. The TCU is in the lower left corner of the drivers dash area. Y...

I can't remember exactly what was up with my own personal situation but I know my rear is within "overall" specifications, but it was like one side was out X and one side out Y. At any rate I had my previous BFG AT KO's on there for 43k miles, regular rotations and I didn't have any kind o...

That being said, do you know how much lift I would get with the OME medium duty springs? Do you think there is any concern with going with a full 2" lift in the rear? OME Rear Medium with OME branded shocks netted me 1.75" solid lift. There are alignment issues when going to the 1.75"...

After 2 and 1/4 years and having $500+ in parts sitting around for 2 months I finally got around to fixing this. Ran through my voltage tests one last time before throwing parts at it and potentially burning them up. Swapped the TCU out for a new one and installed a new 4wd switch. Everything checks...

Replaced TPMS sensors and BFG AT KO2's this past Saturday

Ditched my BFG AT KO 285/70R17D's for a set of BFG AT KO2 265/70R17E's Saturday. I only had 41k miles on them but at just over 9 years old I was concerned about tire failure at speed. So far I like them and I'm happy to get the responsiveness of a smaller tire back. A week prior I had changed out my...

Old-ish post but Makita <insert> has always been a win for me. I happen to have a BTW450Z and it has handled everything from crank pulley bolts, lug nuts, suspension bolts, etc.
