Agreed. I plan to do this mod in the Spring. Tired of rolling around like a low rider every time I load up the back with material from Home Depot or hook up a trailer
I get sort of an odd RPM blip when shifting into OD. Usually occurs when cold or the first shift into OD of my commute. It has been covered in a couple other threads on these boards. Being told it is normal and nothing of concern.
Can anyone confirm if the cats are necessary? Put another way, if I live in a state without e-check can I essentially just "punch out" the honeycomb to increase flow? Have heard of this done on other makes and models. Wondering if it will result in a dash light coming on or some other adve...
Would love to pair up one of the more modern 8 speed trans to this power plant. Was in a rental Toyota Corolla the other day and even that thing had one. You now have Dodge Rams getting better MPG than our beloved R51 in part due to their 8 speeds
Welcome to the great oil debate. Been going on for eons it seems with no definitive answer. In fact there is an entire site dedicated to this discussion. Just search Bob is The Oil Guy and see what I mean. I think the best way to determine the most favorable application for your rig is to try a few ...
Not sure. You are hearing it from the engine compartment?
I get various rattles and chatter from what seems like the glove box area on my 2011 LE V8. Problem is, I've removed everything from the glove box so I'm left baffled by what it could be b

With that being said, I run Mobil1 5w30 due to the extended interval len...
most of my work commute is crawling bumper to bumper less than 30 mph. Fuel economy in the V8 under these conditions blows. The few times I get to let the motor breath without jagoffs around in traffic I'm typically doing 80mph on the highway so I never really make up for the work subpar economy of ...
From the headers to the tailpipe. You had mentioned the B-pipes typically won't match up but you had made a necessary part switch that facilitated the header matching up.
Out of curiosity was this a Bose system? I am looking to replace the speakers in my 2008 Pathfinder LE with the Bose system but I can't find any information about the speakers already in there. I would like to know before I tear the doors apart so I only have to do it once. Thanks! you'll need to f...
Headers gears 4" intake and a tuner in short. Head over to titantalk, they've got tons of go fast mods. The headers don't fit without modification due to the UCA since the engine bay is smaller. A lot of people like LT Doug Thorley's but they are pricey. With that said, the OBX are essentially...
