spare tire question

So I finally got around to doing the air bag install today, and gave myself some room under there by dropping the spare. First time I've ever done that so the first time the spare has ever been pulled out to my knowledge. I replaced the stock longtrails some time ago but kept the spare. What I found...

This dealer and sales guy are sketchy as F@#$. I'd RUN from the entire deal and find somewhere else to shop. My family has been in the auto business and I buy/sell 20-30 cars a year for my biz and this is a clown shop you're dealing with. No decent dealer puts cars on the lot with missing parts and...

My commute is only a couple of miles, and then there's a bit of running around for errands or kid-related things, but I'll go weeks at a time without going more than 2 miles on the highway. Doing that I get about 15. When I do highway driving then it's a long trip. Over Christmas was 3500 miles in t...

They tested just about every oil on the shelf in his oil test. Pretty informative and in some cases eye opening IMO. Left me shaking my head... http://www.animegame.com/cars/Oil%20Tests.pdf Thanks for the read, that's interesting. My question would be what kind of pressure resistance is needed in a...

Re: Idle RPM

Is it possible to have the idle RPM increased just a little? My 2012 v6 seems to idle rough and when I just place my foot on the gas just a touch it seems to idele much better. I think there's a few threads about the rough idle and a consensus that it is just "one of those things". Mine h...

R51's use open diffs front and rear with electronic limited slip that uses the ABS system to brake a free-spinning wheel to allow power to go to the wheel with the traction, so, there is never a time when all four wheels are working equally as drive wheels at the same time, even in regular four whe...

I had their predecessor, silent armors, on my 99 Grand Cherokee before with the LT and they were snowflakes. Loved those tires enough that I just replaced my worn out duratracs with the adventures. I ended up going with the P rating and didn't get the snowflake. Huh, that's odd. I bought SAs late l...

Nice picture, although I suspect not Belgium. From what I remember living in Brabant for a couple of years as a kid it was a bit flatter! That and the Demer river stank to high heaven.

It should look like this folded correctly ... ( Dang, it's so clean in there! It's spotless! I'm very impressed. Two dogs and two kids have played havoc in mine of the same vintage. Not helped by hauling construction waste in it recently from a kitchen remodel either...there's only so much the husk...

Re: Totaled my X, looking at Pathy, Fronty, or another X.

22 MPG is no problem if you keep your speed around 70-75 MPH on the highway. If you want to go 85 you're going to knock it down to around 19 -20 MPG. This is on OEM tires. I can't comment on others. That is VERY good to hear. I was actually steering away from the pathy and wanting to get a frontier...

You're not the first to have this issue. http://thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=313&highlight= My leak is just to the passenger side of the brake light and it seems to be the same spot every time. Barely a dribble, but enough to irritate and worth asking about before you run out of warranty. I...

Rear view mirror

Check this out. Go to make a minor adjustment to the rear view mirror as I get back in the car on a warm day in the desert. Imagine my surprise at the mirror comes off in my hand. But, and this is the weird bit, it wasn't the adhesive that gave out. There still glass stuck to the mount and a chunk o...
