I remember there was one, something to do with the oil drain plug maybe? I can't remember the details. It only affected a fairly small number of units. One I looked at new had been included but fixed at the selling dealer, the one I bought wasn't affected. Since then I've owned the one I bought and ...

Re: Popping/clicking sound from glovebox when turning on AC

Whenever the AC is first turned on I hear a pop pop pop pop coming from under the glovebox area. This clicking will continue for only a short time and then stops and everything seems to work fine. I have never changed the internal air filter. Think that could be the issue? Mine ticks, a bit too but...

That would kill me, I use the glass more than the tailgate! One of the most useful features I find and something I lament the loss of on so many newer model vehicles. :(

I went with the SA recommendation (courtesy of these same voices here) a few months back and have been very happy. P rated, stock size (17s). I've put about 6K miles on them in a variety of weather (just not consistent heavy rain) - they were great in about 5-6 inches of new snow driving up over the...

You'll get lift advice from others, but I've been really happy with the goodyear wrangler silent armor tires I put on last fall. Just stock size (17s) and they weren't cheap, but this is my daily driver family road trip camping biking dog home depot yard waste vehicle and I've been very impressed wi...

We have a local distributor here in South Africa. The manufacturer of these units is in Argentina. USD price would be around $1800 I guess. You can also search for Rhino on Facebook, but here is the Argentinian website. http://www.rhino4x4.com.ar/ Mine is the first Spanish spec bumper. They do cate...

Re: my rear hatch window leaks, too

I know this is an old thread, but I suspect more people have this problem. I bought my Path new last November. The rear hatch window has leaked since I got it. I'm planning to take it to the stealership soon to see what they say. I already had the sunroof screen adjusted for a rattle. It was quiet ...

That looks like a hoot! What kind of speed were you going? It all looks 100 mph from that angle. Very cool.

That makes since considering it looks like you are running much larger tires, you'd inherently run a lower PSI. I don't think you would, at least on road, since the air pressure is what holds the vehicle up. The load a tire can handle is a function of the pressure it can hold and an LT tire will ne...

I looked into this a bit a couple of months back (see LT vs P thread somewhere in here). Fom what I understand, the LT has the higher load rating based on its stronger construction that allows it to run at higher pressure than the stock p rated long trails. Running at lower pressure can cause it to ...

I was thinking more along the lines of warp speed, star trek style! Great shots though.

Well, after 3612 miles in two weeks, I have to say I am sold on the silent armors. As happens this time of year, we drove through everything from dry to very wet to 2-3 inches of fresh snow to squashed ice and even some mud tooling about on the in-laws farm. The tires were outstanding, very stable a...

Only reason I had them was because they came with the car. They were horrible in wet weather and they didn't even last 30k miles on my Pathfinder. Spot on. I gave up on them for exactly those reasons although my patience only lasted to 21K. They were stepping out in damp conditions with the slighte...

Nice, looks like fun! I like how you have the driving lights tucked out of the way, how did you do that install? Looks as if they are mounted on the underside of the top of the lower opening? Nice and unobtrusive.
