I just had the dealer replace my timing chain tensioner and the noise (supercharger) is gone. Also it seems like my gas mileage has increases by 20-50 miles per tank. It cost me though i have 84000 and the dealer charged me 850.00 to do the job. I dont know if the chain tensioner had anything to do...

For the timing chain system on the R51, does it require thwe dealer to remove the engine or take it apart or it something they can fix under the hood? Basically where is the timing chain system located? just curious.

Thanks in advance.
