Isn't 100 octane race gas leaded?

That wouldn't be good would it?

Let me check and see if my '06 base model path has a pre-drilled hole for it. If so, we can figure out a price. I know it has a 'cut out' in the skid plate on the passanger side that I'm assumeing is for that, but I'll have to check and see if the frame is drilled.

Thanks for the testing -- it's great to know your findings. I've haven't done the level of testing you have, but seem to be having similar results in my unscientific tests. I've done some highway testing on 87 vs. 93 and don't see any noticable difference. I do a fair amount of boat towing with mine...

Yeah.... per the manual " RECOMMENDED FUEL: Use unleaded regular gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (Research octane number 91). For improved performance, NISSAN recommends the use of unleaded premium gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 AKI num...

Fuel Use

Just some observations so far: I've tried 93/92/89/87 octane and don't see any change in useage or performance in my 2006. Before I tow the boat I usually let the tank get as low as I can for a few days and fill up the rest of the way with 93oct. I have been getting between 21.8-22.6 mpg on the high...

From the service manuals posted in the 'sticky' part of this board: Head = 95% head, 5% foot Head/Foot = 60% head, 40% foot Foot = 20% head, 55% foot, 25% defrost Defrost/Foot = 15% head, 50% foot, 35% defrost Defrost = 7% head, 15% foot, 78% defrost and it says "Airflow always present at drive...

Looks good! I like the look, but keep my rolling tool box on the side of the garage that I park on (the wife isn't a percision parker) and don't have enough room to add any length to the truck -- I can't even close the garage door if I have my draw bar / ball in my hitch, so I'll have to sit this on...

First off, all the 2006s are pre-wired for sat radio, and they all have the 6 disc changer. I think the 2005s are not quite the same, either not 6-disc or maybe not pre-wired for sat radio, but anyway, this would be what you need: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&...
