Now I'm hearing that when a cat fails, the sub straight can be sucked back into the cylinders causing an oil burning problem.
Any thoughts on this? Can I use some kind of an additive or are we talking engine rebuild ?

Are those wheels hub centric or do they use a spacer ring to mount them?

Cats

I had my cats fail at 88k and nissan would not help / goodwill etc saying the warranty was only until 80k. And I worked for a nissan dealer at the time ! Anyway, now at 120k mine are starting to rattle again. The replacement warranty was 12 mo / 12k. So now I'm just going to gut all 4 cats and use s...

Thanks for the info guys. I want to move the seat adjustment switch to the right and use a cargo light switch from a frontier for the driving lights.
So now I need to figure out how to remove the lower plastic panel.

Blank switch

On my 06 pathfinder le, there is a filler plug ( ? ) on the lower left of the dash where the pedal adjustment and mirror adjustment switches are.
How do I remove that plug so I can put a light switch in that hole ?

The part number for the second cats on the armada and pathfinder are the same, so I think the replacement pipes would work.
Does anyone know defiantly if the pipes interchange ?

So I could just knock the guts out and not have the expense of the replacement pipes. Then it would look like the cats are still there

Cats

My cats failed and were replaced at 90k on my 06 pathfinder le. Now at 123k the secondary cat on the right bank is failing. It rattles and the guts are coming loose. No code yet. If I replace the secondary cats with a test pipe will that set a check engine code? The o2 sensors are before and after t...

I use valvoline 20 / 50 synthetic blend. I have tried the Lucas oil stabilizer and I'm not convinced its worth using. I've just never been a fan of a cure in a can

Ok, I've been watching the oil consumption. I'm using about 1qt every 5-600 miles. I did replace the PVC valve and hav switched to 20 / 50 oil and that seems to help. This all started after a shop did a Motovac cleaning, what ever that is. Also, I did have the injectors checked. They flowed with in ...

Has anyone removed the cover to see if there is a plug for the hill decent switch ? I would think that nissan wouldn't make a different wire harness for the le and se or. If the plug is there then maybe someone can figure out what's on the other end that makes the hill decent work. Any thoughts?

I have an '06 LE with 118k. Just after I bought it with 5100 miles on it ( That's right 5100 miles ) I did the trans cooler bypass. Had the fuel pump / sender unit replaced under warranty even though it was working fine. Then at 87k the cats failed - check engine light came on & no power. Had th...

Call any of the Greg's Japanese Auto shops in the Seattle area.
They have been great on both my Pathfinder & Acura TL
