I should get my springs this week. Here are the height measurements at all 4 wheels. I measured from the ground up to the edge of the wheel opening, with my yard stick dead center of the wheel. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c3/ScotF/Pfinder/measu.jpg (Note: Dont pay attention to the measurement ...

Can I remove the wiring harness and put dielectric grease in it to protect from moisture? Try it, it aint gonna hurt anything. The connector is on the trans housing, passenger side, pointing upwards towards the bottom of the floor. Be patient to figure out the connnector, it is a pain. When you fig...

H&R Springs

I just ordered H&R lowering springs and should get them next week. I will post before and after picks, along with measurements. Billy T put them on his '08 V8 model in Sept of '08, if anyone is interested in his experience... http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=1160&highlight=loweri...

After two sets of the BFG Long Trail TA's, I switched to Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires. I am much happier with them. Mind you, I have a 2WD Pathy and hardly hardly ever go off roading.

I checked with the dealer, and the sensor I need for my application isn't $30, its $120. The difference being the connector and functionality.
If the dealer quoted you $120, they are ripping people off! The retail price is $77.83.

If you are looking for an "old school" removeable bra, look for a Colgan. I bought one from Autoanything.com about 4 years ago. I still have it. Colgan was the only manufacturer of one I could find at the time.

UPDATE:

I finished Sunday night and the transmission is fixed and working fine. I am glad. This was an expensive gamble but the diagnosis seemed pretty cut and dry.
Replacing the valve body/ TCM wasnt too bad of a job. Physically, doing the fuel sending unit was more difficult.

Tech,

I am just about done with it. I should be able to start her up this evening and see if I blew 800 bucks or not.

Is the valve body install a "plug and play"? Or does the new TCM need programming?

Update: I havent fixed my Pathy yet. Waiting on the valve body to come in special order from the dealer. Here are pics from the pan removal... When I pulled the drain plug, I let the transmission fluid drain thru a coffee filter to see what was there besides fluid. Looks pretty damn clean for a 125,...

Driving home Sunday after dropping my boat off to storage and I get the check engine light on. I had just passed an Advance Auto Parts, so I turned around and went back to borrow their scanner tool. After turning around, I try to accelerate and it feels like the trans is slipping. Engine is revving ...

I have seen the thread about the y-pipe and I think I am going to leave it alone. The 02-09 dodge ram trucks had a very similar y-pipe and alot of guys (including me) had theirs swapped for what should have been a better more free flowing solution. Turns out it hurt my low end so bad it wasnt funny...
