Pathfinder is at the dealer after starting to sound like a diesel tractor. Diagnosis: timing chain and/or guide and the price quoted was 2500. In addition, the SES light popped on the way in... O2 sensor... another 650. Thinking of trading it in at this point. Just venting, I guess.

Quick update, I just checked the ATF dipstick(pulled out 10mm bolt) and found that the ATF is neither red or milky. Its a light brown color similar to freash synthetic oil. level seemed fine and it was a clear light brown. I'm thinking the previous owner flushed the fluid with something else? Or is...

I bought the Crossteks and have been quite happy... Plenty of snow and rain here.

Make sure the lug nuts are tight... I had vibrations after having work done, turns out they failed to tighten the lug nuts on one of the tires... Probably not the issue but...

What does this sound like... My engine bay is awfully noisy. I hope I have the same issue as you indicate on my truck. My mind was swirling with possible engine damage...

I read through your thread. It seems that the problem may be a combination of what you a smj... suggest. I'm really getting tired of sinking money into this truck..., but off to the dealer I go, again and again and again!

I have a 2005 LE that will only blow cold air out of the drivers side vents including the floor no matter what the settings are on the climate control panel. The rear air and passengers side temp can be adjusted normally to blow heat or cold air but no matter what the setting combination the drivers...

Welcome to the forum! I was born and raised in Shreveport. I haven't lived there in decades, but I still have a lot of family there. BTW: There is no tint that will defeat Louisiana heat as I recall!

I've tried tuning the mids and highs but what I find myself doing is tuning them down, when I get to about half way up on the volume they sound like they are about to crack lol like to loud that's why I'm thinking they can't handle the watts. Do you know what those speakers are rated at watt wise? ...
