I'm currently deployed and have that situation with my Jeep. I say let her drive it once a week. The fluids need to be kept moving through the vehicle. Sitting for 6 months to 1 year will be very hard/bad on seals/gaskeets. You might have alot more work cut out for you if the vehicle is not driven ...

the window will sometimes stick to the rubber gasket/weatherstripping making it more difficult to open. if you pull the release handle on the outside of the door, you should hear the window latch mechanism pop. as long as you know that the window latch mechanism has released, you should be able to l...

drive in 2wd until you think you need 4wd. when you think you will need 4wd (i.e. snow, dirt, sand, etc) switch it on.

driving in 4wd on dry pavement is not good.

what about wheel balance? does this do anything? I would think that they extra weight from the paint would throw it off a bit... as long as you coat the entire face of the wheel, there "added weight" will be evenly distributed, and there will not be more weight on one area of the wheel. p...

1. brake pads NEVER cover the entire surface of the disk. there will always be some surface at the inner radius and some surface at the outer radius that is not worn down by the pads. 2. because that material is not worn away by the pads, it just rusts. most brake disks are cast iron, so they rust i...

did those models come with rear heat/AC? the US version has rear HVAC system, so I would think that a coolant line is run to the back for heat.

2 things regarding that net and our anchor points... 1. the anchor points in the floor and walls are garbage. the ones in the floor are cheap pot metal and can't take a significant load. i busted one in the floor strapping down some 2x4's that were sticking out the hatch window. the ones in the wall...

i have a suspicion that one of my TPMS sensor is leaking as well... not really sure how to check it though. edit... after some googling, it seems like the leaky TPMS culprit is *usually* a loose retainer nut on the valve stem. not sure if this is the cause of your problem, but i'll definitely be che...

not that i want to pour salt in your wounds... but it looks like you JUST missed the 80,000 warranty on catalytic converters.

that sucks.

you might want to try and bargain with the local dealer to see if they can cut you a deal on parts since you just came out of warranty.
