I like all the extras with the OFF ROAD package. I wish I had them on my SE, but I love my 4x4. It has bailed me out of trouble a couple of times and helped me pull out some tree stumps on three occasions where a 2WD wouldn't do. I'm also very interested in the price difference though. I do like the...

I don't think I understand the reasoning behind a 2WD OFF ROAD package. I noticed that the OFF ROAD version offers Rancho performance off road shocks and special wheels as well as HSA andHDC. I know that I've gotten stuck in my 4WD vehicles without any of the above mentioned goodies. How does the 2W...

Let us know how it turns out. I'm definitely interested in how the dealership treats you and in the end how much it's gonna cost.

I got mine at a local Lordco store here in British Columbia. What you want to look for is the greasable fittings. I suspect that my U-Joints failed due to no grease.

Does anyone tow their toys in the mountains? I live in British Columbia, Canada and pretty much any towing that we do here is through mountain passages. I'm wondering whether anyone else town their trailers/boats/whatever else in the mountains? If you do how does your PF perform in the uphill towing...

I'm shocked.

What exactly is the difference between SE and SE OFF ROAD?

I think I'm really confused.

My front driveshaft moves 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch max. I wonder if it's a steering linkage issue. Maybe you got a loose or worn out joint.

Do you get the vibration while turning or is it a straightaway issue?

Man that looks like a lot of fun. The sand looks really solid under the vehicles. What kind of speeds do you reach? :D

I have Husky as well and you do have to remove the liner to flip the third row up, but often I just bend the liner in half and raise the third row. Husky is well made and quite durable.

The nice thing about the dealer looking at the PF was that they went out for a testdrive with their computers hooked up and managed to get a reading and diagnose within one hour the problem. All that without even putting the PF on the lift. I don't know when you bought your PF, but I got mine in Sep...

Matic J is what you need for the tranny fluid. My PF was out of warranty, but the dealership was awesome and picked up $4800 worth of cost. All I paid was $1200. The dealer told me that they've seen a whole bunch of these and that they would replace it under a blend of goodwill and some kind of &quo...

Welcome to the forum. The tranny bypass info can be found here: http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=2139 I just had my tranny and rad replaced due to the rad and tranny failure. I haven't noticed my new tranny shifting early, but it's only been a week or so. Generally, I've found the tranny...

Are these functions for newer model PF's or does that apply to a 2005 as well?

I thought the keys for the PF's had a chip in them. Does anyone know?
