Re: 2006 problem(s) - need advice

My 06 has a little over 75K miles on it. I have been having this problem for about a month or so now. When I am driving, at random times the truck with feel and sound as if I am going over the entire road full of those rumble strips. I took it in the shop, told them about the radiator/tranny issue....

Only way to fix some things is for it to completely go ka-put.

My suggestion to you, better than the horn, is a BULLHORN. That way you can tell them what to do and where to go. ;o)

Thanks man. I thought so too looking things up online, but you would think that the inlet and outlet for both the V6 and V8 would be in different locations. That would at least cause a different hose to and from the block and radiator but I would think different locations for the connections at the...

Re: Useless sparekey!

Saturday I was out in the sunny weather riding motorcycle. All fun. Had a good drive from Norway to sweeden and around. However, at a gas station i noticed that the small room in my backpack was open. And in there the key to my car was. The key is probably somewhere on the highways were we did anyt...

Re: Help high pitched engine noise.

Take it to the dealer, you have timing chain/tensioner issue. Free fix that will be about a day and it'll cost Nissan $1500+ to fix.

Re: about to do F/A sensors

Hey all, So I went to the local surplus tool store (princess auto) and purchased 2 o2 sensor sockets as well as a thread chaser. Any pointers for me before I take a crack at replacing the primary o2 sensors (also called Fuel/Air Sensors) tomorrow? t Drive it onto some ramps, so you get more space. ...

Re: What gas do you use? premium or regular?

87 octane minimum, that is what the 06 pamphlet @ the dealership printed.

Been using it ever since and no problems.

I thought the 08+ were suggested to use 91 octane? Guess I read wrong.

Canadian models don't have them.

That area and the rocker panels look prone to rusting in the future.

In the rear wheel well, front area, you can see what looks like metal overlapping.

I purchased a (MAF) online and need to change it out. Does anyone have any tips or hints I might like to know prior to operating on the ol' girl. I am not the best at mechanics but need to save the $450 everyone seems to want to charge for replacing the (MAF). Where did you buy it and how much? Yea...

is it possible to find it somethere?! Yeah... swap out the entire drive train (front & back) with domestic. I couldn't find anything on line either. You may have to pay more if you swapped with Toyota drive trains. I'd look @ Ford and Chevy for the best suitable drivetrains. Basically compare p...
