Welcome to your new home away from home! The 05 Pathy is a wonderful generation of truck. :D There is a maintenance item thats very highly recommended to do right away though. that is to replace the radiator. A truck thats over a decade old can benefit from a new radiator anyway and decent ones can ...

The new nissan radiators and the aftermarket radiators that are available have better gaskets for the heat exchange w/...

Sounds like you are getting a fair price for work from a man who has done it before.

Please show us pics when you take it thru the snow after its done :)

There are always used engines available. Some of which are quite good and reasonable priced.

Swapping an engine is no joke but its a lot easier than rebuilding one.

So it might be just the heater element that's causing both codes?

So this may mean if I war up the car gently then the O2 sensor will be at efficiency and I dont have to worry about bad AF ratios in my engine?

Welcome! 05 and 06 Pathys can be a great value they are powerful , well handling and well equipped while still being tru body on frame 4x4s. However here is something to look out for: When you inspect a early year R51 open up the coolant cap (ask the dealer not to start or warm up the car until you ...

PS; So if I replace that O2 sensor.. Will the heater code still come back? or are they on the same part assembly?

Nissan MAFs hate oiled airfilters.

In my old Nissan Z club nearly every single guy who put a oiled filter like a K&N into his car had MAF issues as a result.
OEM MAFs are expensive.. and the aftermarkets are often very bad.
