I'd like to learn more about that. A diesel R52 Pathfinder would certainly tick a lot of boxes for many people.

WOW! I didn't realize that Nissan made an R52 Pathfinder! Where are they sold? Can you give us some specs?

Yup! Window dressing. Fancy fenders still doesn't make it an off-roader.

First, you need to realize that the 2011 and 2016 are two very different vehicles, so a lot depends what you are expecting out of it. The 2011 is a true SUV and will accommodate you well if you plan to do a bit of off-roading and plan on using it's towing capabilities extensively. In other words, to...

I'd give them a shot and tell the vendor you'll be the test dummy with the stipulation that you can return them free shipping for a full refund if they don't fit. The potential sale may be worth it to them.

From yours and other's observations, it sounds like you need to drive in FWD (Auto) mode and let the tranny heat up before engaging 4WD. A Google search reveals that this is not just a Nissan problem. All makes experience problems in extremely cold weather.

Apples and oranges guys. The R52 is a completely different animal with a very different engine. We can speculate all we want but it would be helpful if the OP can tell us what the problem from last September ended up being. Doubtful though, since that was their ONLY post.

It all depends what you're looking for in a vehicle. Putting AT tires on an R52 does not make it an SUV. Ours is primarily a suburban vehicle that occasionally needs to transport 7 people and pull a 3800 lb. camping trailer. 80% of the time it's just used for commuting, so the gas mileage was an imp...

You can go to Nissan Recall Lookup site (https://www.nissanusa.com/recalls-vin/#/#/Home) to see if your Pathy is affected.

In regards to this link, can you do me a favor and summarize it for me? I'm not a car person and this seems like it's very technical...talking about valve body. I have no idea what this is. Essentially, the valve body is a component of the CVT that Nissan believes is causing the shuddering. It is l...
