Wait Wait... I gather your radiator is fine and their is NO coolant mixing going on in the trans?? If so, instead of spending $500+ why wouldn't you just spend LESS than $100 on a bypass trans cooler? You can literally install them in 10 minutes.
You are a lucky man. When my 05 trans crapped out (twice) the dealer which i bought it from was on the hook for the repairs, Nissan refused. Truck was still under Warranty at the time aswell, But we all know how much they love not recognizing the rad WILL wreck the trans. Thank god the dealer (best ...
Wow, that was ALOT of info. Thanks.jut an
Update; SES light hasn't come back on (knock on wood) so I don't know how it would only throw the code once and then never again, but I am sure not complaining.
I'm sorry, but there is THOUSANDS of things it could be. "My trucks running perfectly and the SES light is on, what's wrong?" We have NO way to guess what's wrong.
NOTE: The scratches on the bumper, right next to the panel seam I knowingly had NOT done as they said they needed to reprint the bumper. So I'll use some touch up paint on those. The repairing of the bumper was out of my budget for this.
WOW looks good. Pics coming. And Marc, when it comes to autobody repairs, 600 is incredible minor. Simply replacing a dented bumper can cost upwards of 1500.
UPDATE: Picking the truck up in about 4 hours. Will post pics when i do. Seemed really quick (I know it was a relatively minor repair) Hope they did a god job considering i only dropped it off Monday morning and they called me Tuesday evening saying it was read. We will see.
Ah, a fellow Vancouverite Yeah those coquihalla hills can she be a killer if your towing something. When not towing however, damn they make fine places to pass all the slow polks.
Just thought I should point out, these AT's were ones I bought in the 90's for an 86 jimmy. The last set for the pathfinder lasted me 60,000KM. I'm guessing the rubber was much harder on the older ones.
