285/50'S are wide and tall enough as it is. Theres already extra weight from the wheels then you add more weight from the tire. You'll probably need a lift if you want 295's .

Its probably because they have more length to cover and they arent under as much pressure. The rears arent coil overs like the fronts so they wont lift as well.

yea there are cheaper ones out there. Try to stay between 4300K ~ 6000K those are good color temps to go with. They won't be too blue or purplish and they actually give the most light output of all the colors.

Yea you can do it. You can completely swap out the hub or just buy some spacers with the different bolt pattern. Changing the hubs will be costly not really worth it unless your doing all the work yourself and get a good price on the parts. The spacers might be your best route just have to make sure...

Theres plenty of mods available for the Pathfinder, just depends on where and how you look for it. The Xterra, Frontier, and Pathfinder all pretty much use similar parts so you kinda have to dig for it. Its really all in how much you want to spend. some 285/75/16 ' s will fit without any modifications, and if they did rub all you would need to do is a melt mod on the inside wheel well plastic. Use the search function and it will bring up all types of topics on tire sizes and what tires people are running.

if you can't find anything your looking for, just sand them down real good and paint em. Can't hurt to try if they are already scratched up .

I've had a problem on previous vehicles if I install certain aftermarket belts they will squeel. I learned not to be cheap in that department again, just do it right and fix the problem for good.

also check your cv axle boots, they could be torn from wear and may need replacing. That can cause that popping noise when turning.
