Rotating the filter sounds scarry ... I would think then you would just suck all the dirt the filter suspended right into the engine .... I didnt think it would even go in backwards ....

We have a Plasic intake , the only spacers that really help are the ones for aluminum intakes and the spacer is made of plastic , that helps keep the intake/ or throttle body cooler .... But on ours , I see no way it would help ....

Could be something like a spider web in the a/c drain tube ...seen that alot in the spring time ... then the box will fill with water and drip on the floor ... You have to get under and pull the tube out and see if its plugged ....
