Finally got to proper data about A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. It's one like this: http://www.altstar.kiev.ua/images/Santech/MT1202.jpg what I did was connect 2kOhm and then 50kOhm resistor between 5V feed and return Signal wire to bypass the sensor. In one case A/C kicked in alone, and in other ...

Oh, my bad...I forgot to paste shift mechanism picture, where you can see knob can get un-clipped and removed in order to take middle section trim out (if you cannot move shifter out of the way into D position): https://seznam.org/downloads/pathfinder-shift-handle.JPG 1. Selector lever knob 2. Lock ...

I doubt you will find out anything by just disassembling gear lever. I would rather try diagnosis procedure first: 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Keep pressing shift lock release button. 3. Move selector lever from “P†to “D†position. 4. Release accelerator pedal. (Set the closed throttle po...

Brown discharge in cooler

Hi, I've been rebuliding engine some 6 months ago, done head gasket, cleaned everything, new oil and water pump, new chains and all gasket sets. Today I checked coolant at radiatro cap and found the light-brown film on radiator cap and inside radiator. Opened the top hose, which comes from engine, a...

My monologue continues :) I've tried with some AUTO TESTS as follows: - Auto-test of lights, vipwers and A/C compressor clutch and it was SUCCESS - Auto-test of A/C components, but could not initiate it. Test should be performed doing those steps: Ignition ON, then turn Vent dial CCV + Temp dial CV,...

Well, I came down to possible malfunction of A/C pressure sensor in front refrigerator.

Anybody have any data on how/what to measure to test if pressure sensor is OK?

Indeed there's sub-oil pump some half-way down between rear and front final drive axles. Main oil pump seems to be driven by main shaft, but for sub oil pumpI am not sure. By construction it looks like being driven by actuator motor, so it could be just to switch drive modes. I had same problems and...

A/C malfunctioning

Hi, I serviced the engine during winter, changed chains, sprockets, gaskets...meaning, whole front end was teared apart. But during cold weather I did not need A/C cooling. But now, when heat is coming, I found out, A/C does not cool. Ok, did some service: - the refrigerator pressure switch was brok...

Yeah, mine is also very, very picky about just the right level of ATF. Even 1 ounce makes a notable difference.

Hi smj, just to be on safe side, I also asked my mechanic and he said, just like you, that I can simply unscrew old A/C pressure switch and put back new in, no problems with A/C gas pressure. He said it has shrader valve inside. BUT unfortunately in my case that WAS NOT TRUE. :( As I unscrewed old v...

I've had numerous limp mode situations after I installed "sport" cone-shaped air filter. The air resistance was too low via the new sport filter, so turbulence was not right at MAF air sensor on intake hose. So I had to relocate MAF sensor some 15cm (some 6 inches) downwards by the air int...
