Hella 450 and 550 Rectangular Driving Lights Impressions?

So I was thinking of skipping the whole HID driving light idea (since I can't find them in an affordable price range) and going with some Hella 450's or 550's (under $100 US). Has anyone installed these and have had positive or negative experiences with them? I am looking for a good longer range -- ...

Tail Light Guards: Steel--Anyone Install These on their PF?

You come out from grocery shopping only to find some idiot carelessly rammed their shopping cart into the back of your PF and cracked your tail lamp. You get angry-- curve a little (or a lot). What are you to do? Like many of us, online has become our source for buying aftermarket stuff for our PF's...

Actually I use a Panasonic CF29 with my Jotto Desk. The laptop weighs around 10lbs, but its' a hefty computer. I've been happy with it overall over the past several years.

We use ATV's for off roading. The PF just takes us to our favorite off roading adventures. Like others, it's too expensive to take serious off roading. We purchased our PF mostly because of the 7 passenger seating, and it's easy for my wife to drive.

I like the top ones. The ones with the LED's and keeping the amber turn signals. The rest are Ghetto teenager lights.

We get around 17.6 MPG overall. I think the most we ever get on the highway is around 21-22 mpg with our V6 4x4.

I used a shielded copper wire with a grounding lug to ground my radio chassis to the PF frame. Though there are already smaller grounding wires installed by Nissan, I wanted something a little more reassuring.

We use a K&N filter in our '07 PF. It was $40 for the filter and then we got the oil/cleaning spray for $7. They suggest cleaning the filter at the standard cotton/paper replacement intervals as your stock filter unless you drive on dirt roads or in dirty conditions in excess then to do it more ...

Most auto part stores in the states (Autozone, PepBoys, Checker, Parts America, etc) sell the LED bulbs in white, Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow. My buddy put in the white ones in his interior of his '05 Pathfinder. They are MUCH brighter and as GB says you won't have to replace them.

We have tried 85, 87, and 91 octane here in Colorado. We have noticed a bit better fuel mileage between 85 and 91. Like others have said though, if you're towing and want optimal power and mileage then premium is the way to go.

I'd be interested to see if anyone from here has modified a stock Armada/Titan mirror to their PF. I know there is talk on the Frontier boards about doing it, but it doesn't appear that anyone has done it yet.

However, they do serve a purpose on the new Ford F250/350/450 as they do add fresh air into the engine compartment. I have a buddy who works for Ford's design department. He says currently the Ford trucks are the only vehicles that use the side vent for anything truly practical.

GB--unless you have and LED bulb with a built in resister or unless you add a resister the LED bulbs will be dimmer and flash faster (kind of like when one of your other signals are burnt out) than the stock bulb. I tried this on my PF and got those results.

A buddy of mine used Rhino lining on his '05 PF. He says though initially expensive, it holds up to the sea salt and off road abuse he puts it through. Just an idea. He says you can just paint it on.
