Still it is a pretty good price for a new Nissan product. Even if the headlights and grill are different and there is a Suzuki badge where the Nissan one used to be.

I replaced the two clamps on either side just under the drivers and passenger doors. I have also replaced 2 on the drivers side pipe close to where it makes the bend to head into the muffler. I just replaced two more at the rear just before the tailpipe. Where I live in Canada they use a excessive a...

@webmastir
I just bought the standard 2.5 inch exhaust clamps. They cost like a $1.50. The only tool needed is a socket (14 mm in canada think that's 5/8 in the states) to tighten the clamp.

Autoglym. Either the HD or Super Resin Polish. Found that it is the best shine and easiest application so far.

I just clamped them all because some of them you cannot just bend off of the pipe. I wish Nissan had just never put them on in the first place as they already mount the larger shields on the underside of the body.

Exhaust Rattle

I am not sure how many others on this site have had this problem. Nissan installs an absurd amount of heat shields onto the exhaust system and then mount more heat shields above the exhaust that are mounted to the underside of the body. The problem that I have had is that the factory clamps on the e...

^^^ Agree with the above posts. Go to a Tint shop getting air bubbles out is a pain. I got 20% on my front windows. It looks the same from outside, inside you notice a slight difference between the darkness when looking at the factory and aftermarket tint. More light comes in through the factory tin...

There was a topic about this a little while ago, http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=3375 It is normal for the Pathfinder to do this as engine braking is programmed as part of the grade logic into the transmission. When towing this is helpful to keep speeds down when going down a hill. Othe...

Its normal for the oil pressure to go up during acceleration. Was the engine at operating temperature. If the engine is not at operating temperature the oil pressure is the highest right after the engine is started.

I had to pay just under $245 Canadian for a brand-new key and new remote both programmed as I lost a key and remote snowmobiling this winter. The worst part is that I got the lost key and remote back recently and the programming on the remote was changed. So now I have to go back and get the old rem...

I tow my 19.5 foot Tahoe Boat in the Summer. Winter time tow is a 2010 Ski-Doo 1200x Renegade in an enclosed Rance all aluminum cargo trailer. Tow's both very well. Uses more gas with the Rance trailer as the top of the v nose front of the trailer is about 2 feet above the top of the roof of the Pat...

As far as oiling the air filter goes the best thing to do is to oil it and let it dry hanging (say in a garage) overnight. K & N specifically states in the install manual to disconnect the negative battery terminal when installing the FIPK on the R51. I did not do that when I put mine in and I t...

If you are going down a steep enough grade and already have your foot off the gas and lightly touch the brake your transmission will downshift to create engine braking. Mine always downshifts from 5th-3rd to help keep a constant speed. Honda's also have grade logic programming in the transmission fo...

Purchase a PAC tr-7 relay kit. Creates the parking brake signal and is programmable and only requires power and ground hookup and very simple programming.
