At this point, I'm okay with my R51. I'll save $50k+ and just SAS my R51. Parts are starting to get discontinued from Nissan though so I'm a bit worried, but otherwise in okay spirits.
I would definitely go with the upgraded thermostat housing with factory Nissan oem thermostat. You don't need a low temp one since it's no race car nor you probably don't do any spirited driving with it, it'll just end up causing the engine to run rich burning more fuel. I'd go with the billet heate...
This is one of the hoses that goes to the heater core from the back of the engine that has a bulky device inline on the hose - 92400-ZS21A. Unfortunately the longer one that comes out from the rear driver side is no longer available. I bought a Samco hose to see if that'd work, but it was too big un...
So the Audi R8 coil packs went in easy and great. It does take a little longer to start than normal(takes a second or two of cranking before it starts as oppose to starting up right away with the factory coil packs). Car drives and idle smooth. I'll drive it for a while like this and see how I like ...
Iirc, the head unit itself also has an hdd which probably contains the operating system of the head unit. Could be a bad hdd in the head unit. You'll most likely need a new head unit. What model number is your ipdm? I suspect 2010 or 2011-12 should have the newer version. I recently swapped my versi...
Headers are normally considered aftermarket and most shops won't touch it with a ten foot pole. You're going to have to find a "tuner" shop most likely.

At the end of the day, it's done and it most likely saved your Mom's transmission as well as saving you time. Otherwise, unless you believe in the supernatural, most likely a mechanic beat you to it.
I believe your other two options for rear lift springs is Dobinsons and Kings - both from Australia. As far as I know, the extended Radflo shocks gives you the most suspension travel compared to all other options in the market. Not sure if you got the Radflo shocks or the extended version? I believe...
I think the R51 market is fairly stuck with Radflo when it comes to "higher end" suspension. I've inquired with King Shocks since they're here in Southern CA, but they're definitely custom for our rides and they'd have to measure the R51 in person(mainly the rear since front coilovers are ...
