I didn't mean to imply there wasn't an off-the-shelf solution, but I've heard from a few people that the Gibson kit isn't all that good. Also, just about anything new listed on eBay can be purchased 10% cheaper elsewhere if you do some research. eBay's fees and policies guarantee this. For example, ...

Gorgeous photos. Man, I envy you. I gotta get back to Utah next year. In fact, after the kids go off to college in a few years, I want to move out to SLC to be closer to places like this.

Re: Exhaust tip

If anyone has pictures that would be even better. Thanks so much! Serious waste of money. Save up, go to a ...

One thing that I considered doing before taking it all apart which may work well, is using a hot glue gun to glue the pieces in place at the corners. I don't think that hot glue is the kind of stuff you want to use in front of a hot, vibrating engine. But Mike's epoxy idea might work out. I wonder ...

Josh also got back to me indicating he is still cutting vinyl. He's in the middle of a website update, so there's nothing for you to see there right now. But when the site is up you can place your orders individually, select colors and pay via PayPal. I shot him an email with what I think we've agre...

Isn't that the truth. While it wasn't server/network gear, several years ago we had someone steal a large network printer (HP 5SI), which weighs quite a bit. Turned out he lied to our security guard, and our guard actually helped him load the printer into the back of his pickup truck. Classic socia...

That looks awesome. How did U do it? Where did you get all the material? Almost forgot. As far as the material, being in I.T., I just happened to come across an old server cabinet that was going to be thrown out, so I used the grill material off of the front of the cabinet. The piece was about 5'x2...

There's a guy who does the decals for the NPORA site named Josh who cuts their decals. I've got a set and they're real nice. Anyway, he does individual orders in a good selection of colors. I sent him a PM to see if he can handle the business. Unfortunately, he's not very reliable and his website is...

Most of my driving is in the dark on rarely light back roads, lots of wash and TONS of animals. I keep my dash illumination one tick above "black out" It helps of the rainy nights when the rods are wet and nearly invisible with the OEM halogens. For as short as the beam lays across the ro...

Well, the best place to put one would be right over the upper brake light, but I think DMV might take exception, particularly if we go with the solid white "nissanpath" version. Another place would be to the left of the handle on the rear window, but you'd have to put another decal on the ...

Re: Installing an amp where to run wires

Ok, I'm having a custom box made with two subwoofers and amplifier all self contained on the box. I'm doing this so the box can be easily removed when I need to use the cargo area or third row seats. Question for anyone who has installed am amp and/or subs in their R51 Pathy, is where to run wires ...

My idea was that this would be a cut vinyl decal, each letter individual, not a solid, rectangular "bumper sticker" with printing.

I'd much rather have one of those switchblade keys. less clutter in my pocket. However, I do not like the factory keyless entry remote. I can be sitting in my office and the remote pushes against my chair and makes the windows roll down which I think is the dumbest option available. That could real...

Re: Replacing coolant hose clamps

Just wondering how many have started replacing all of those radiator and coolant hose dummy clips on the VQ40 engine with something more dependable. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Images/L/3614.JPG Another project... :) . I never had or saw a hose clamp fail during operation in 40+ years. Sure, I...
