Here you go, this one is good, its from an xterra forum but pretty much the same since the frontiers, xterra's and pathfinder share the same front suspension. http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2497 this how to shows how to change your spring and the steps required to do so, but of course...

Welcome, I would stick with bilsteins, and it is a very easy D.I.Y
You may need to rent some tool IE: spring compressor, but other than that its straight forward.

They should fit the front suspension of the frontiers and xterras are basically the same as our pathy's

You can try to run it through where the stock harness goes through, if not there is normally a hole already pre drilled but has a rubber gromet around it.

yes well to each his own. while IRS is very bad for rockcrawling, its much better for sanddriving, one of the reasons i choose the pathfinder to begin with. I would take some wd-40 or pb blaster and and spray all the bolts down real good, wait 30 mins and attempt to loosen the nuts and bolts, repeat the spray down for stubborn bolts, this has not failed me YET!.

Welcome, mine is basically the same setup minus the rear shocks, and I was able to get everything align perfectly, as for the bumps, it might be due to it not being align perfectly because Im not having that issue. Post some pics.
