Don't think he is referring to the dockable unit. He has the normal rear dvd entertainment system. Like I said before, I'm pretty sure you are not able to do this in pre-2008 model years. Hopefully someone will confirm.

Completed the wiring for the lcd and the dvd player. Took power/acc from back of av control unit. Tapped into the AUX plug in the dash to play dvd audio through bose. Waiting for a few more parts to mount the dvd player in the center console. Then I'll post up a few more pics of the finished install.

I think I found what you bought. That is a 2008 unit, which is completely different that the '07. It also does not look like a gps equipped unit. You're probably not going to have any of the wiring harnesses for this unit and you have a CAN bus to contend with as well. Take a look at the difference ...

Middle seat has a loop in the corner of the seat...pull it.

The 2nd row has 2 reclined positions. You just need to unrecline the 2nd row to the first position...which is like an inch further forward.

Are there stop/play/pause etc. buttons on the player itself or only a/v input jacks? Thanks.

Those are rear air/heat controls. Allows you to control the rear roof vents. Or you can transfer control to the rear passenger controls located at the rear of the center console.
