Went to an autozone to see if any codes had been thrown, no codes were found, however I get down the road about 3 miles and noticed my VDC/off and SLIP lights were on. Stopped the vehicle turned it off and waited a few minutes then turned it back on and the lights were out. Continued home and they d...

What would be the causes of hard shifting?

Have an 05 pathy with 67k miles on it, had tranny flushed and filled at the dealership a few months ago and it shifts real smooth except for every now and then it will shift hard going up from a standing stop especially on the first shift. I noticed today that while going down a hill and it did its ...

Going to do Rad replace though before warranty runs out. Damn nissan and these cheap ass ...

New General Grabber HTS

Hey guys, had to tell somebody, Just installed a set of these tires on my wifes 05 pathy. The original AW's had 67200 miles on them and still had probably 2k left. Got them at a discount tire store and it all went very smooth. THey priced matched a place I found online and there was also a 50$ rebat...

I had the radiator replaced for ~$400 just for the piece of mind it provided and as cheap insurance. At first the shop thought I was paranoid, but when I went to pick it up the next day they sang a different tune as if the radiator guy had told them a few horror stories. I have heard that this occu...

Thanks, I dont do any towing at all with it. I guess I will just replace the rad at about 79,900 miles. Reading on some other boards it seems people are backing off of the by-pass now due to different issues, but have yet to see a definitive solution for this problem. Logic says a rad replacement sh...

? concerning tranny/rad issues.

I posted last weeks experience regarding tranny issues here: http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=2139&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=285 My question now is, if those of us that are about to run out of the extended warranty, would the solution to this be to flush tranny (just PM)...

I'm definitely going to do another trans fluid replacement right at the 80K mark (when the radiator warranty expires) and I'm still undecided on the bypass. I live in Phoenix where the temps are extreme. I haven't seen enough data yet to convince me that there is proper cooling without the radiator...

Sounds to me like they spoke too soon the first time before they actually diagnosed the problem and now they are trying to back pedal to try and "re-assure" you that you don't really need a new tranny. They don't think that you'll know that the vehicle actually does have 2 coolers. How ma...

THis is what made me call foul. Rep said that there is two kinds of tranny cooler on the pathfinders, one is internal to the rad and one is external, wifes has the external one and they have not seen any of those go bad up to this point as it is all of the internal ones. HE said he did not know why...
