Even if you take it in, you can't pinpoint which sensor unless you reregister them first. They get mixed up with rotations, winter tires etc. you have to re-reg, then drive until the code comes up, then scan to confirm. Other wise you might get a left-rear code, but really what was the left rear is ...

Try this;
get in, key on, hold the lock button down until the hazards flash. That works for some models....I typically just use the Consult II/III. I do this on Versas all the time, never tried it on a Path. It is on the menu if you have an SE/LE with front screen.

Could also be tire noise. Check for feathering....Seems like all R51's feather on stock alignment. Will be more noticable on braking near stopping speeds. Try rotating and re-check.

You'll still have the past code stored if you ever want to look at it.
Also the impact sensor recall is regional - In Canada it was inspection only for most areas. The only ones that got replaced right from the start were the ones we collected for study.

You can take it in and monitor each door switch with the dealer "consult" tool. OR... You can try removing the door switch from each door one at a time. I believe they are normally open and close the circuit to ground when you open the door. The R51 stock security only sounds when you open...

Hey Mar1, sorry, haven't been watching this thread. All those engines seem to have a bit of a tick, some from the intake, some from the valvetrain, especially under load when cold. Alot of it's pretty normal. The only thing to watch for is the cat rattling. They should have had a look at it when it ...

ask them to check it with "data monitor", if they know what they're doing, they should know what to look for. Also, you can run the SRT for the cat and get the computer to check it without waiting forever

Skinny2 - sorry man, didn't see your PM - did you get sorted out? PM again if you need. If I can help, I certainly will

Here are the bushing P/N's as requested;

R51 V8 - 54613-ZT00A
R51 V6 - 54613-ZL10A

They come pre-greased, just have to clean the bar before you re-install....

nothing special. 22mm to take the torque member off, take off the rotor, clean the hub, wash new rotor, put in on. Might need a couple c-clamps or big slip joint pliers to push the caliper pistons back if you do the pads, but then thats it! Break 'em in properly...brakes wont be so great immediately...

when you turned on your heater, was the air warm? If you have an SE/LE, have you checked your rear lines? Maybe also check your trans fluid while you're at it. Which cap did you check? The one on the rad or the one on the over-flow (pressure cap)? If you have an earlier production model, the heater ...
