access from the back is difficult because the panels are rigid. If you can get to it....pull out on the 1/4 grey "stick" - thats the actual locking rod. and presto! If you go from the outside, use tape to protect the paint. Use a nylon/ plastic wedge to open the gap on the right side of th...

if it's a PCV hose vac leak, they should also have high alpha when it acts up.

The ECM relay should be the first thing they do (recalls first). If they monitor the voltage with the ConsultII/III tool, the voltage will be low when it's running rough/poorly

no spin on the pathfinder. use a big c-clamp or water-pump pliers or WHY. If you're working at a good height, you can push it in with the butt end of your ratchet.

it looks good. Just look through the clear part....if the metal bridges are solid, you're fine. Do not try to take the clear plastic off.

you rich bastards with your puddle lamps.....your battery saver should shut them off....the time delay may also be set-able, along with headlight timer, etc. Just try it once before it really counts. I've left my dome light on a few times and battery saver always saves me!

Oh good....I was worried for a sec there! Strange though that your dealer would even be allowed to send it out to an outside vendor....You may want to make sure that it is in fact covered by warranty and they're not expecting to bill you at the end of this. I'm not really sure what your dealer is do...

you can try that, but the ones I've seen don't make the noise when they're not loaded. I guess if it doesn't make a noise on stands, it helps point to it.

The u-joints you can check loaded or not.

Check your u-joints and the rear drive shaft. (some have an internal noise in the shaft itself).

I say you spend the money on developing some elbow sliders for your next Spies impression....nice pic!
