wheel spacers with stock 16s and 265/75s?

anyone running spacers with stock 16s and 265/75s (or any other wheel/tires setups)? 4x4 parts has some listed, come in 2 packs (why not just all 4?) http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18915015-6-on-4-1-2-wheel-spacer.html I have heard that spacers can cause issues but have no experience and have no idea abo...

haha forgot about this thread... the amazon cross bars have been holding up, the bolts are kind of rusting out the middle (where the hex key goes) but not terribly. about to use them for real for the first time this weekend, putting the canoe up there! I did buy a roof basket - however it has alread...

I just went from 245/75/16 to 265/75/16 and my speedo now seems to be dead on. I am in a US model S, the 4.0L 4x4, not sure if it will be the same but sounds like you could be upgrading to the correct diameter anyway...

Thanks Dan! I am betting it is the thread pitch that made it difficult, the 1.25 part. Surprisingly, I was able to find metric bolts at my local home depot that had that pitch, but nothing to bolt TO the frame as an anchor point; luckily a nice guy at the pro desk there referred me to a local Fasten...

Need correct bolt size for R51 front tow hooks! NOT M10x1.25

Yes, I searched this forum and found the size mentioned in several posts as M10x1.25 - this is incorrect, the bolt slipped right inside the hole. Local Nissan dealer has the tow hook kit with the bolts, but the bolt size isn't listed. I am trying to get away with not spending $50 each for these frig...

nice! I unfortunately have been using mine as a daily driver, would love to keep the miles low, but I do end up commuting 20 mins each way every day on the highway. I travel just over 80 and even with a tire that has a slipped band or is slightly out of round, it is smooth and easy...I have the 4.0L...

awesome, thanks for the reply Marc!! got the bars on last night, man getting those lil plastic things out was a PITA, til I realized that the hex key fit in and works well. now just cruisin around looking for a good deal on a skybox! I suppose I can always store the box hanging from the ceiling in t...

so I am placing my order today for the cross bars, next up will be the skybox.

Marc do you keep yours on full time? I don't have a garage and am wondering about leaving the box on full time, is that going to ruin it?

I just did this mod as well, love it! I used 6 SMD pods for the front and middle and the 48 SMD in the cargo. The panel came in a two pack so debating using that in the middle and using the 2 6pods leftover for the license plate lights...dono if theyll fit or be waaayyyy too bright...thoughts?

the dynapro seems to be the popular choice! much appreciated good sir! the light offroading I do is limited to woods roads and well maintained trails, to get to the campsite or the lake. nothing serious, so want something that is good on road and in the 'off road' situations I am in less frequently....

this is great info for a new pathy owner, I have the '11 4.0 4x4 with the stock 245/75/16s and they seem to be pretty good, but will need replacing before too long... Its all a game, figuring out where to sacrifice, as like many of you, I dont have the deep pockets to go all out all at once with the...
