What I don't like about neoprene is that it gets hotter during summer days. But one advantage is you can clean it easily.

Between 30-35 psi is fine. Try to set them below the max so that you can feel the difference.

If you have budget, get the weathertech. I like the texture of the mat and there's more grip when wet.

Definitely a hood deflector works. I had one on my previous truck. It helps protect my hood from bugs, rocks and small debris.
