While i can see your point, I disagree. Assuming the unified meter control box is the same from the pathfinder to the armada the switch will only be telling the meter box to send the correct signal to the transmission. I would hope that no one would just hook up a 12v switch to a random wire on a co...

I don't see how any of that could be related. . .unless you pinched a wire when lifting the vehicle

I would imagine the tcm (if it is indeed separate from the pcm in this model) is the same unit used in the armada and titan. so, you just have to find the pin out diagram for the tcm and hook up a wire and momentary switch. just sayin ;-) I will look for diagrams 07' pathfinder http://i1023.photobuc...

here is how you test the a/f sensor as well as voltage you requested. 1.) Start engine and warm it up to the normal operating temperature. 2.) Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds. 3.) Start engine and keep the engine speed between 3,500 and 4,000 rpm for at least 1 minute under no ...

Since the general consensus is to reduce restrictive filters, what I did was drill some ½” holes in the plastic filter box instead and continue using a standard filter. Seems to increase “under the hood” noise a slight amount when you git on it, but at least the box can suck in more air than before...

there are basically 2 "real suv's" made by American auto makers. (real defined as an suv with frame rails) the expedition and the tahoe. everything else is now a unibody or built on a car chassis. so i am trying to figure out how he went from the r51 to one of those and feels good about it...

didn't know that. . .at any rate the fluid was sub par for such low mileage. Have you changed your fluid yet? I am interested to see if this is the norm for this diff. on a side note, I spoke with our (I am a service manager at a local shop) drivetrain technician and he said that the shavings i foun...

Rear diff fluid change. . .found metal

just rolled over 1200 mi on my 2011 pathfinder, which is the end of the break in period. So I decided to change engine oil and rear diff to synthetic. Also I had noticed a slight whine when slowing from 65 to say 55. When i pulled the rear diff drain plug the fluid that came out was darker then i wa...

I think you'd be looking at more than one fan. The HP required to turn the factory fan would be too much for an electric motor, the load at startup would be too high. We actually do this on transit buses, E-Fan is the latest fad, in the interest of fuel economy. The fan shroud changes, to incorpora...
