It is a pain to change but you can do it. I did it myself and even changed the breather valve. Now that was a challenge, since you are kind of working blind near the passenger side firewall. Get a swivel for the socket and it will make it easier.

Can't wait to see if it shows an increase from the claimed 265 from the factory. I think Carl had some graphs on here after he got the supercharger put in his. I don't remember if it had the before and after though.

Well path26, since someone tried to high jack your post, I'll get it back on the subject. PAC audio has a kit HFKNI1, but I'm not sure how well it integrates with the system for a 2008. Here's the link. http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=928&CategoryID=25 The company has a go...

I guess you are still under warranty? Definitely have them fix it before the warranty is up. Take a look for other things while you are at it, because they will probably have to order all the parts and that may take a week to get them.

The theory is there, but the mounts may not. 6 speeds are a rare breed for some reason. Thought about getting an X with a 6 speed, but couldn't find one in a 100 miles. If you find one, crawl under the look at the mounts. One other major challenge is the computer. If it's not getting input from the ...

That gap looks kind of big on the plug. I would definitely change them. If I remember right they are a little bit of a pain to get a tool on. As for the belt, if there are no cracks in the ribs, you are fine. They do get changed every 30k if you do the dealer maintenance. They last much longer thoug...

Mine has been hosed for over 6 months and there are no problems with the pump. The gauge just gets worse over time and it takes longer for the gauge to show the correct level. I have to get about 180 miles on the tank before it actually starts working. I haven't had a chance to change mine out with ...

Was there supposed to be a cover on the faceplate for the space below the radio? Looks a little weird with a gaping hole in the dash. I'm sure it sounds better though.

They are definitely pulling your leg. You need a big turbo to get that amount of gain. Then you need to reprogram the ecm and a multitude of other things for it all to work.

Did you post this just to get people spun up?

I agree with 08 pathy. Fluids are the first thing to do. The belt is fairly easy to do. I made my own tool for the tension arm, since it's just under a 1/2" I just filed down a socket extension. Made changing the belt take 5 minutes. Check the brakes to see if you have pad left and the rotors a...

EBC Brake job

Well I'm sorry ahead of time for no pictures, but most of you know what brakes look like. Plus it's kind of long. I had ordered new EBC Ultimax slot rotors and green stuff pads from autoanything. I have 63k on the Pathy and figured it was time, especially since I know I had a slightly warped rotor. ...

I don't think the v6 is bad at all, since I have one, but the v8 has the beefier rear-end, so it should last longer and a better tow rating. If you are doing a lot of towing or real offroading then the v8 along with the upgraded rear will make you a feel more assured to get you home. If you plan on ...
