Hi Jim,

Every once in a while a Pathfinder is FS in our classifieds section.

Forums trucks are generally MUCH better taken care off than Craigslist trucks or even dealer trucks.

The Pathfinder is such a competitive design IMO even now.
When you have rejuvenated it you'll be driving a very nice SUV!!

Please post up pics for us!!!

I used to admin several large car forums (30K active users) and traffic on all of those has slowed to a trickle. It's not just the age of the cars. Everyone has moved over to FB. Which sucks, because it's unusable in the context that's useful to us, and practically unsearchable as well. This is why...

Way to early to push the panic button yet :D It sounds like you arent sure if its been properly diagnosed yet. Could still be fairly minor. Also you have a nice powerful well handling truck with new transmission. Thats represents some value. If I was in your shoes wouldnt hesitate to fix what needs ...

Thank you so much for this super response! :) Can I trouble you for the part numbers for the non PRO4X Frontier? (If those match the 2012 R51s then this tells me something as well. that the Bilsteins would be an upgrade.. but yet within reason close to what the stock truck might run..) just thinking...

Tyanks for the quick reply!!

So I have a 2012 V6 4x4 Pathy.

And the struts (w/o the springs) are near new for good price.
They are off a 2016 Frontier PRO4X.

With this extra information what do you think?

I am not one of the gurus here.. (so wait for those) but in the meantime this is based on my experiences with Infinitis ( also Nissan) and i suspect it might be similar here. -With them it was never the timing chain that needed replacing, just the guides . A much cheaper part. Also a big part of the...

Anyone here have a motorpool of Pathfinders?

Anyone else here spends his evenings on CarGurus and AutoTrader lusting after more Pathfinders (or other Nissan SUVs, Armadas, XTerras)

Part of me just wants to own a motorpool of those kind of vehicles.
But i barely exercise the 2 Nissan SUVs that I do own..
