No worries, appreciate the reply. Got it figured out, just needed some Liquid Wrench.

Also, for anyone going forward, the bolts that attach the boards to the mounts are 10mm and the bolts that attach the mounts to the frame are 12mm.

Looks great without them!

Realize this is an old thread but I tried this out tonight and had a hell of a time. I started with the bolts you recommended but was only able to get two of the first four I tried. Could it just be the cold? It's about 20 degrees here. I was using a 9mm socket, which like I said, worked on two out ...

Matte Black Paint Job

Has anyone here done it? How did it turn out?

I just think it looks cool but I couldn't find any photos of Pathfinders with this look.

Thanks!

do you have winter fluid in your washer resevoir? If not, and its frozen that could be why its not working. As far as the leak goes, make sure the drips you see aren't from spillage when you were filling the tank. Best to see if its leaking when the truck is running, let it run and watch for drips....

Right now it is around 18F but was probably in the low teens to single digits overnight.

Quick update: it's definitely leaking. Put a piece of cardboard under the truck overnight and noticed several drops. It appears to be leaking directly under the coolant reservoir and not near the radiator. Also, could be unrelated but since it's in the same area: the windshield washer fluid is not w...

I'd probably watch it a bit and see if you keep having to add coolant before taking it to a shop. It could have had air in the system which bled out and then lowered the level in the reservoir. I recently burped mine and had to top it off a couple times before it cleared up. I can't really explain ...

Added coolant last night and that fixed the problem...however, checked this morning and the reservoir is ALREADY low again. It seems the leak is near the reservoir as there have been no engine temp issues at all. Seems crazy there could be this bad of a leak so suddenly. Going to have to take it in....

Thanks for the help guys. I am not knowledgeable on this issue at all and live downtown in an apt (so no garage or workspace) so I think the best solution is to head to Autozone for the refill procedure. Does that make sense?

AUTO vs 2WD and fuel economy

I read the sticky where one person mentioned they didn't really notice a difference, but I was curious what the consensus was. I have had a 2011 LE for a few months and have had it in AUTO the entire time. According to the computer I am getting about 17 MPG overall. Anyone think I would see a marked...

yeah for sure. I had a guy over from the forum last fall, and was shocked at how much quieter his 08 pathy was than mine. My fan clutch is old and probably needs to be replaced, it makes my rig much louder, kind of like a hovercraft! :) But based on how quiet his pathy was, I could totally understa...
