Under the driver's side dash. It looks like a big plastic serial port.

It'll look like this:

Pathy got new footware.

Just got back from Firestone. Had Destination A/T's put on to replace the Goodyear Silent Armor's I had on there. Also had an alignment done as well. The results: Destinations have better traction, cornering, and even braking seems to be improved. Body roll is hardly noticeable now, and bumps aren't...

Still on original Nissan battery. And have 5 channel amp with JL audio stealth box subwoofer. Original alternator too.

08 S model bought in June of 08 used from Enterprise rental car. Only issue I have is I have to constantly clean off corrosion on the positive terminal every few months.

I had an Alpine PDX 5 channel amp mounted under the passenger seat in my 08. The installer was able to mount it and and still keep the vents functional. The amp is no larger than a width and length of a piece of letter sized paper and is about an inch tall.

Steve, Your install looks really good. I installed the same headunit using the factory brackets. But, I used a dremel and was able to recess the headunit to fit almost flush with the bezel. Also, instead of using the toggle by-pass, I installed the PAC TR-7 which does the bypass automatic when you ...

Using your pictures and instructions posted here, I was able to easily install my Alpine IVA-W505 into my 08 S Pathfinder non-bose system. Here are three pictures from the finished project. Sorry about the glare, the sun is rather bright today. IPOD SCREEN: http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/xx337/A...

Are you using 4WD a lot in winter? This will certainly drag down your MPG.

Check for the obvious: dragging brakes, low tire pressure, etc.

Thanks a bunch for this. I'm installing a new head unit in my 08 with non-BOSE stock radio later this week. While I have a service manual, your pictures are certainly more informative.

Nice. I have an 08 S model. However I plan on installing the Alpine 17C series in the back doors and the 69C series in the fronts. I'm also installing the IVA-W505 head unit. My question, how difficult is it to remove the door panels. Any tips?

I plan to do a ATF fluid change on my 08 Pathy S 4x4. If I read the specs right, it uses 8.5qts. can anyone verify this for me?

No problems here. But I've only hit the low fuel light twice since I've owned it. I normally fill up at just under a 1/4 tank.

Mine is off too. WHen I changed the filters, the tab that holds it in place broke right in my hand when I tried to remove the cover. There was no bolt. So far the only flaw I've found in my Pathy.

TPS monitor system may have to be reset, not certain.

Speedo may need to be recalibrated if the outside diameter of the new tires are different than stock.
