JC Whitney sells a windshield washer reservoir heater. Not too badly priced either.

I was mistaken. I meant the Hella 500FF. They are $65 at Walmart. I am going to tinker with behind the grille mounting. I'll post pictures once I find a solution. Thank you in advance for all of your input. -D

Thank you Terry. I think we will go with the oil pan mount. Found a good heater pad for the oil pan at Checker Auto Parts here in Colorado for $15 including tax. I talked with some neighbors and they recommend it as well. Thank you for your input! -Dave

Grille Mount Lighting: Where to mount lights?

We don't have the money to spend on a $300 light bar for the front of our Pathfinder. Are there any recommended places behind the grille to mount some long range driving lights? We've upgraded our stock lamps to Sylvania Ultra's and have been very happy (except when we encounter blinding snow), but ...

Maybe it is a dumb idea... but since I don't have $50K to shell out on a QX56, I chose to do a badge swap for fun. We've had a lot of reactions. It's been fun. Too much free time on my hands? Maybe... but it was fun to do regardless. :)

Engine Block Heaters Vs' Battery Heaters: Preference?

So we live here in South Central Colorado where the temperatures can get pretty nippy sometimes. Our heated garage is great at home, but when we're out and about and have to leave the PF outdoors, we need to keep it plugged in. Does anyone have a preference between the engine/oil pan heater to the b...

We purchased the PF because it was the best mid-sized 7 passenger vehicle that offered decent towing capacity, and had a true 4 wheel drive power train (our first Nissan) that we could find. We were comparing it head to head with the Ford Explorer V8. We weren't interested in the Chevy Trailblazer o...

Hmmm... interesting... I'd be curious to see one of these kits installed (both styles) and would like to know the true impressions by the driver. Our Silverstar Ultra's are sooooo much better than stock--but would like something a little brighter and won't have to replace for the life of the PF.

Ours vibrates too. Drives us nuts. Had in to the dealer twice and they can't find anything. I'll check the latch too GB.

I wonder how easy it would be to make a custom K&N style microfilter? Those cotton ones are cheap looking.

You know the stock tires aren't bad. However we have only owned the PF for a few months and had purchased it with only 13,000 Miles on the odometer. We are at 17,000 miles now and there is already significant tire wear. I have checked the pressure and it's good all the way around, as well as the ali...

I don't think moving the battery would make much difference with the weight. Are you trying to achieve better fuel economy?
