Thanks, I didn't even think of disconnecting the battery. That should have been my first thought.

I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I too used the Trico 12-B. I manage a Advance Auto Parts store in Maryland and it's available to us next day. It fit and looks just like the OE blade.

Installing an amp where to run wires

Ok, I'm having a custom box made with two subwoofers and amplifier all self contained on the box. I'm doing this so the box can be easily removed when I need to use the cargo area or third row seats. Question for anyone who has installed am amp and/or subs in their R51 Pathy, is where to run wires f...

It must have been the awesome sound when I romp on it that fooled me.  The first thing that came to mind involves all these cheap little rice rockets that the high school kids have. Rip out half the exhaust & make it as loud as possible, because obviously if it is LOUD, it must be FA...

My VCD and slip light come on once in a blue moon sometiems when I start the car. If I drive a few miles, shut it down and restart, the slip light will go out, then I can turn off the VCD light with the button.

A big help thank you. I was reading up on it in the service manual, but it was more complicated than your directions. The service manual wanted me to remove the shifter knob, the center console etc etc, I didn't think it was all that necessary.

Stereo install

I need step by step instructions for installing a new stereo in my 2008 Pathfinder S. I know how to do the electrical, what I need to know is how to remove the bezel surrounding the radio and AC controls. This is the base model single CD radio.

Goodyear Fortera TripleTread. Best tire hands down for dry & wet grip, handling, hydroplane resistance, and smooth/quiet ride. Can't yet comment on longevity, but 10k on these tires and I still don't notice a difference. I've had the Michelin Cross Terrain's on another vehicle and they are no c...

Those CAT batteries are for industrial and commerical use. I don't think any of them wold fit the Pathy wihtout modifying the tray and hold down. For example the gropu 31 batteries they show are huge and are used in many diesel 18 wheeler applications.

Hoping to do the foglights tomorrow after work.I work retail so I usually work Sundays. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll put them on soon as I get home. I'll take pic...

I've noticed better fuel milage using premium over 87 and 89 octane here in Maryland. 1 - 2 MPG difference. Read back thru this thread. I, and others, have noticed the same difference. But, at 20-30 cents a gallon price difference here in Houston, it's simply a matter of economics - times are tough...

I like most everything about it. Mine was a slightly used 08 S 4x4 from Enterprise rental car. Only complaints were some of thes things that don't come factor on the base model that really don't cost that much to add, like running boards, side molding, and the cross bars for the roof rack. Milage co...
