No impressive pics but the pathfinder made an everlasting impression. With a group of 8 we went on a week enduro/offroad motor riding in the french alps. 8 persons, 3 cars, 8 enduro bikes. One way amsterdam - french alps is 1300km. The last 100km are narrow winding mountain roads with a mountain pass over 2000m. On the way in it was sunny and everything went smooth and fine.
On the way back the weather changed dramatically with the first snow of the season arriving early. For the pathfinder with trailer with 3 bikes no problems, ok I switched from 2H to AUTO. Once we were over the mountain pass the first messages arrived from the others behind us. "Help, we are stuck. We need a 4x4". Mind you the other cars were light, small engine (1.5 litre), front wheel driven car, heavily loaded with luggage, persons and trailers with motorbikes. So we ditched our trailer and went back to rescue the others. In this picture you can just see the towcable being connected. Towing both the car and the trailer, so a train of 3. No problem whatsoever, I switched once to 4LO but that apparantly disables traction control. And in the snow the traction control helps.
Pathfinder saved the day!
