they look good but to me they seem a tad short. I would have expected them to be a little longer to cover back further closer to the rear tire and an inch or two closer to the front. Thats a lot of exposed area left vulnerable. Dont get me wrong im not trying to knock them. just my .2cents

No problem... that was my initial reaction as well, but then I looked at pictures of xterras with sliders and they seemed to have the same coverage. I also remember Matt06 having the same experience with his rocky road supersliders. I don't plan on doing hardcore offroading, so I'm not too concerned.

I think they look really good. I kind of like them a little shorter. How much did they end up running you and how long did they take to ship?

Thanks Bwareheim. I ordered them on 11/29 and got them on 2/2... pretty much on time with the 8 week ETA I received. I ordered them through AC Customizers (4x4parts.com) and paid $465 (includes extra center support) for the sliders and $106 for shipping.

They're definitely not light. Shipping weight was 135 lbs. I'm guessing the box and packing material weighed approx. 15 - 20 lbs, so maybe 55 to 60 lbs each?

Here are pictures from the passenger side slider:

Front Mount:

Rear Mount:

There are 4 bolts attaching each slider to the frame. For the front mount, the bolts pass through existing holes in the frame. The one that goes in from the side passes through a large hole in the frame rail, then out a hole in the other side of the frame rail and through a large flat plate (provided by Shrockworks).

For the rear mount (on the passenger side... driver side rear only required 1 hole to be drilled), I had to drill 2 holes in the frame. Each bolt passes through the slider bracket and through one of the holes in the frame. One bolt is secured by a nut welded to a 1" x 3" plate (provided by Shrockworks) and another is secured just by a nut. Each nut is also welded to a long skinny piece of metal that helps you feed them through a hole at the bottom of the frame. Each of the bolts use 2 washers, a lock washer, and of course the nuts.

I hope what I wrote made some sense.

Absolutely, thanks. Much better than the one I have, at least in terms of attachment.
