Differentials I found rears for 475 bucks LKQ has alot of them range from 900 to 475.all 2011 like brand new. Free shipping and 6 month warranty. Just go to car-parts.com and search for 2008 infinity QX56 and you will find them LKq from ohio are cheapest. Front ones are hard to find because they have to be 08 and newer. 07 and earlier are week housings and brake. Took me couple months to find goodone for 450 bucks. Everyone wants 800 plus for front ones..
Yes I am staying stock size tires.
And what do you mean it feels like V8? This mod is for V8's. V6's already. Have these gears, thats my understanding.
ok cool. seems like everyone likes car-parts.com.

and i just mean our v8's don't really -feel- like v8s with the stock gears. i mean they feel better than a v6, but only slightly. felt more like a v8 once i put the bully on, and once i eventually do the gear/diff swap then i'll really be happy, as our v8 should perform like a v8. know what i mean?

True that. This is the way it should come out of the factory.

dumb question but what would be a good gear upgrade for the v6 with 285/75r16. kinda looking for gears to help with performance, since they are usually the best bang for the buck mod.

Sorry for the late reply. I did not need to break the rear seal for shaft removal. It was nice to look in there and make sure everything was lined up though.

From what I recall, that's how you got your current lift, correct?

Well good LUCK! Become part of the crew!

ha yeah pretty much. was on my bday last year and won $1k.

my gambling practices have changed considerably since then though. back then i'd only do .25 slots and would sometimes do $1 slots (the $1 is where i got the 1k).

at our 'local' casinos now i usually play $1 ($5max) slots and $5 ($5max) more often. i go down more quicker, but usually come back at the very end. last time i went down a good $400, but then hit $475 and then $800 on the reels. that made up for the $400 i lost the time before and then some :) but then we went back a week later and lost $300 again. heh. up and down, up and down. yup, i'm an addict

i plan on taking a good $1500 to vegas (yeah i know, that's pretty much the diffs right there) for the couple days we're there, so here's to hoping!

Does this change out towing capacity?

The big tow package includes extended mirrors a rear auto leveling kit and these gears on the Titan/Armada.

It will not let you tow more capacity safely then whats recomended by nissan for the pathfinder V8, if thats what you mean. But it will definitely help you with towing. It will tow better and easier up the hills. It will pull the trailer easier from stand still or any speed.

It definitely helps with towing. But I would still not go over the 7k limit. There are other things that limit the towing of this SUV. The suspension, wheelbase, and breaks are weak points for this car when it comes to towing.

Brakes maybe, but my trailer has its own brakes.

Rear suspension yes, but with airbags, that is no problem.

The real limitation is the wheel base. Its a simple question of physics.

Well I didnot by it for towing. I got it for family winter driving and fun. Love a moment of surprise that it gives to everyone else. Specialy the kids with hondas and other musle cars. When they cant pass it on the highway. I have 2 diesel cummins pickups for towing. And also my other project car for fun, toyota cressida with 2jzgte in it.

Just thought it was worth mentioning since the Armada without the tow package can tow up to 6500 pounds. And the one with the package can do 9100. I don't tow anything but thought it was worth the head scratch.

Good point. The Armada towing package included automatic reat load levelling air springs, the hitch reciever, a transmission oil temperature gauge, and a tow mode button for the transmission.

Everything on that list can be done to the pathy, except for the tow mode for the transmission. I've always wondered if the TCM from an armada with tow mode could be installed in a v8 pathy.
