Must have a faulty valve stem, or something else. I lost 12PSI in 1 tire over the weekend, so I'll take it back in today and have them fix it. I'll probably drop the spare tomorrow in preperation of getting it swapped, so hopefully I can get a pic of the BFG and Bridgestone side by side.

finally, after going back and forth trying to figure out what i wanted i was at discount tire looking at the nitto's and the GY silent armors (again...). as luck would have it they had a set of yoko geolandar a/t-s. i had been interested in these initially, but never saw them in person. i really liked my AT II+s, and while the tread on the A/T-s isn't as aggressive, i still liked them when i saw them. now all i need is some armor, sliders, a bumper, etc. etc.

Nice choice! I had the same thoughts when I was in looking & comparing all of them. The closest store to me had all of them pretty much on the same display thingy, although they didn't have any of the Revos on display & the only Terra Grappler they had was some massive monster truck sized thing over in a corner. Did you get P rated tires?

So you guys running LTs: feel a big difference over the OEM rubber? What PSI you running them at?

GJ nice choice they look great. How do they ride?

thx fiddy...so far they ride good, but i'll reserve judgment on them till i've actually had them a bit. i don't think there isn't any real difference in noise, but the truck does feel more solid than w/ the OEM (have to assume most bigger more aggressive tires will do that)

really want to get them off road and see how they act....that is where the big jump from OEM will be. supposed to be 70-80s and sunny all weekend here...hopefully that will be taken advantage of

*running them at 40psi ATM

It will be bouncing between 19F-40F this weekend with 2" of rain expected Sat... I think I'll go looking for some mud, shouldn't be too hard to find :D

I'll chime in. A little bumpier, but that's probably because I have them at 45psi. Certainly nothing that anyone notices aside from myself. Mine have been just as quiet, if not quieter, at freeway speed over my stock tires.

I recently replaced the stock BFG rugged trail (came on the Off-Road model) with the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor AT's. I saw some talk about these tires earlier in this thread.
I've only had them < 1000 miles, but here is my review:
I got the P265/75/R16 size. They are quiet on the road. They seem to do well on wet or dry pavement. We have had a little snow since then, and they did well (at least on about 2 " of snow).
I have taken them off-road once, and they did pretty well on dirt and rocks - such as climbing a rocky trail. However, they sucked in the mud. I almost got stuck several times. The tread gets clogged easilly with mud and then you have slicks.
Since unfortunately I drive > 95% of the time on-road, these tires are probably a good choice for me. I think they will do fine off-road except in mud. Also, they do have a 50k mileage warranty.

thx pdslug!

first real assessment i have seen of the SA in off road use. i will do the same whenever i get my yoko's dirty (the weather was awesome here this weekend, but i was lazy and just lounged around the house).

did you go w/ the pro-grade SAs? i know they come w/ a off road "come and get you if your stuck" deal...i think

Being that I have the S trim Pathfinder, I want to know if I can go up to a 255 or 265 tire. I just found a leak in the sidewall of one of my tires. They are the OE General Grabbers. I woke up this morning to a flat tire, and when I went to the mechanic to have the tire plugged, I was told that the leak was in the sidewall and that I need to replace the tire. This is after a two hour round trip to Atlantic City the night before. I definitely do not want the Generals again. Again, I do have the 08 S Pathfinder. Any suggestion on size other than the 245/75 16. Thanks.

You can easily go up to a 265/75/16 if you want. They are pretty large tires, so if you don't need/want a bit of extra clearance & can't live with slighter lower fuel economy, I'd go for something smaller than the 265. It all depends on what you mostly do with your vehicle.
