Rear / Side Defrost...?

Postby SurfPath » Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:52 am

It's winter and I have noticed that the rear side window defroster is not working. Fuses that are under the hood look good. Is there anything else I need to look at to try and fix these?

The connections are under the rear pillar so I guess I need to go digging around in there next.

Any info would be helpful! Thanks, Pete

There is no side window defrost. The line you see in the window is your antenna for the radio.

Did you ever figure out what it is my defrost button on my dash below the air conditioning/ heat controls there are 3 buttons, AC, defrost and circulate, my ac button will light, my circulate will light ( also can here stuff happening after hitting the buttons, ie idle change and such) but when I hit my defrost button no light and my rear window stays nice and frosty

LOL, don't sweat it. I initially thought it was a defroster too when I first got mine.

Wow. Just. Wow. I can't believe how much of an idiot I was. I spent a good 10 minutes figuring out why it's was such an odd looking defroster circuit.
