Hi there.

I'm in the same boat. I've been running around trying to get an idea of what's needed to get my factory head unit out and the after market in.

Maybe I should share with yiu what I have found.
This is a cool vid on removing the dash facia.

The head unit is the same In my car.

I going to fit an Alpine iLx-700.

This has "CarPlay" and will suit my needs greatly.

Hope this helps.

Very nice Blackohio.

Is that the Alpine ilx-700?

I'm looking to fit the same set up.

Quick question.

What model Pathfinder?
What factory unit was in it?
Who dose the steering wheel controls work?
Any problems while installing?

Cheers

Bose non nav.
I didn't wire the steering wheel back up. I forgot to tell the guys to do that.
It is the alpine
No problems but we removed the Bose amp and ran a new jl audio one in its place and replaced factory speakers

Damn.

I like the Alpine because it looks so clean. That minimal flat look and the touch screen with iPhone integration is a big seller.

Final tracked my factory stereo down to the Daewoo agc - 0071rf.
Now I can start looking for a wiring harness to tap into the factory loom.

Cheers.
