Whats the mpg on it

Postby waelkd » Fri Mar 07, 2014 2:58 am

Good day,

Ever since i bought it, been doing between 50 and 55 km per 20 litres.

Didnt have time before to check on this problem as i was stationed abroad.
now that am back, need to get this fixed. so anyone have any idea what might the problem be?

Thanks

Wow. that comes out to only 6.5 mpg on the high side. I'm not too sure of what the issue is, but for a benchmark, my 97 gets around 18.5 mpg with combined driving. I do drive a manual and am very miserly with the fuel though.

If it's a VG33E, check the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator at the back of the engine. Sometimes they split and/or become disconnected and cause the engine to run with maximum pump pressure.
