Pathfinder motion sensor alarm - disable?

Hi

Does anyone know any way to disable/switch off the motion sensor alarm in Pathfinders other than turning ignition on/off 3 times every time?

We regularly have to get dogs in and out of the vehicle and it's a real pain to have to do the ignition thing every time. Other vehicles we have/had just have a switch (Audi/Volvo)

Too much to hope for?

is it a factory alarm or aftermarket? Most of the aftermarket ones you can program to disable to motion alarm / shock sensor. Or you can just unplug the shock sensor if you can find it under the dash.. I'm unaware of the pathfinder having a factory shock sensor though

Hi

Its factory fitted alarm/immobilser system. Normal activation of the alarm by locking the vehicle with the key fob with dogs in the vehicle triggers the alarm as soon as they move.
