99,325 Miles "Service Engine Soon"?

Postby bbermann » Sun May 24, 2015 12:50 pm

So I'm at 99,325 miles and the Pathfinder is going strong. The "service engine soon" light came on but all still feels good.

OBD reader came up with:

Fault:01

N/A
01/01

There were no "P" codes.

Is this just a message to do routine 100K mile service?

Thanks in advance for you input!

They don't use the check engine light for service reminders. I would get the code rechecked with a different code reader. There should have been a P-code...unless you have a faulty PCM.

Weird...the idiot light is not on anymore!?

Probably not related but I did a regular scheduled oil change before it turned off.

OBD reader is still saying the same thing.

My check engine light turned on a while back for no reason. I just scanned it and and nothing showed. So I just deleted everything and never seen anything again.
