Actually they work quite well. I have a similar cut out on my streetrod & they are fun. Just a flip of a switch & go from full exaust to straight pipes. Great for crusin. I don't know if they really increase the h.p. & I'm not sure they would help on a Pathfinder.

On one of my past vehicles, I had a custom pipe made that I would drop in for 364 days a year, then pop the cat piece back in when getting emissions checked. A short piece of pipe would surely be a lot cheaper than this thing.

Heard differing reports on the QTP. Some say DMH has a better warranty. Otherwise, I am curious what may be the pros/cons in an R51 application - particularly the V8.

Multiple accounts of issues with the seal. Some say it sounds like an exhaust leak constantly when closed.
