Yep, another wheel question. But I searched and searched and couldn't find an answer to this.
I'd like to get some different 16" wheels for my Pathfinder but am not understanding why I would need a positive offset. I've read many posts about people looking for that to keep the wheels inside the fenderwells. I kind of like the wider stance that a 0 or small negative offset would give the truck, but I've also read of "clearance issues" with the caliper and don't understand what would cause this. I wouldn't think the offset would cause this unless it was a very high offset.
I just want to make sure that if I get some 16x8 wheels with a 0 or small negative offset that I won't have any problems a heat gun or dremel can't fix.
Anyone with aftermarket wheels able to help?
